What is Automation?
Automation is a process that allows the data from
one MS Office application (e.g. Access) to be
shared with another application (e.g. Word, Excel
or Outlook). This transfer is handled by a VBA (Visual
Basic for Applications) script that controls the
flow of data. The automation process also allows
for the searching, sorting and formatting of the
data.
